Order Process: –
When we receive your order, you will automatically be sent a confirmation email confirming your order. We aim to process and ship your order within 48 hours of receiving it – please be aware our working days are Monday -Friday. For example, if an order was placed on a Friday evening, we would receive the order Monday morning, and the 48 hours would begin at that point.
Once your order is dispatched an email will be sent to you to confirm your order is on its way. Delivery guidance is 2 to 3 working days.
HazChem and Oversized Deliveries: Due to the special handling required, HazChem deliveries and oversized items may take slightly longer to process and ship. You will be contacted with an updated delivery guidance if we believe it will be longer than our standard process and delivery times.
Minimum Orders: –
We currently have some minimum order requirements in place, please see the information below:
5 Litre Containers – minimum order of two (these do not need to be the same product)
25 Litre Containers – minimum order of eight (these do not need to be the same product)
205 Litre Containers – minimum order of two (these do not need to be the same product)
1000 Litre IBC Container – minimum order of one
Delivery: –
We currently only ship our products within the United Kingdom. The delivery cost for each order will be clearly shown in the checkout area prior to payment.
Free Shipping: We offer free shipping* on most orders of 25 Litres and more within the UK.
Orders under 25 Litres: For orders under 25 Litres, standard shipping charges will apply. The shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
*Exceptions for Hazardous Items
There are certain products we sell that are classified as hazardous materials, these require special handling and shipping. For these products, we must comply with safety regulations, and they will need to be delivered by a HazChem delivery specialist.
Hazardous Material Delivery: Products that are identified as hazardous (this will be shown on the product information page) will incur an additional HazChem shipping charge. This charge is necessary to ensure the safe transportation of these products.
Notification of HazChem Shipping: You will be notified at checkout if any of the items in your order require HazChem delivery, and the specific shipping charge will be clearly stated before you complete your purchase.
Additional Charges for Islands, Highlands, and Special Items
Shipping to Highlands, Islands and Northern Island: Some more remote locations, including certain islands and highland regions, may incur additional shipping charges due to their location. These charges are applied to cover the extra costs associated with delivering to these areas. You will be notified of any such additional charges at checkout based on your delivery postcode.
RE-DELIVERY
If an incorrect delivery address has been entered during checkout, please email admin@britishchemicalproducts.co.uk as soon as possible with the correct delivery address.
If an order has been dispatched to an incorrect delivery address, or redelivery has been tried numerous times. We will wait for the order to return to us before a re-delivery can take place. Re-delivery charges will apply to the same paid shipping rate based on your postcode. If a free delivery option has been chosen, then the standard paid delivery fee will apply accordingly.
